Settings
How exams are weighted, what shows on report cards, and permanent mark deletion.
Exam Configuration
Define what each exam is out of and how much it contributes to a subject's final total. Weights should add up to 100.
Saving a new weight only affects marks entered from now on. Recalculate applies it to students already recorded for this class.
Repair Subject Lists
A one-time cleanup for classes whose registered subject list picked up subjects from other grade levels (e.g. a Grade 4 class showing 20+ subjects instead of its real ~8). This narrows each non-elective class's registered subjects back down to what actually belongs to it, and shrinks the subject columns on any already-created exam to match — it also fills in any of that level's official subjects that are missing. It never deletes marks already entered (marks under a removed subject name stay stored, just no longer shown as a column) and never changes Senior/8-4-4 electives. Safe to re-run any time.
Report Card Settings
Controls what appears on printed report cards school-wide — does not change how ranking or totals are calculated.
Danger Zone
Delete only the marks matching specific filters — e.g. one class and one term — leaving everything else untouched. Preview shows exactly how many records match before anything is deleted.
Or delete every mark record for this school at once — rankings, report cards, and anything published to the parent portal. Students, classes, and Exam Configuration are untouched.
